In Loving Memory of Toby

October 20, 1998 - July 23, 2008

Toby (Prince's brother) was diagnosed with cancer the beginning of June. The cancer grew very quickly over 6 weeks and he started having problems laying down and then walking. We managed his pain with lots of pain medicine. But the pain medicine really sedated him to a point where he wasn't himself. He was in a lot of pain and we decided to do what was best for Toby. He went peacefully after eating a pint of ice cream. He loved ice cream. I take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and he is with his best friend from Bow-Wow, Sadie, who left us also too early. Toby was a wonderful dog. He will be missed by all who knew him. I look back on all of our experiences (and there are a lot of them over the last 6 years) fondly and laugh and smile and cry (for now.) I look forward to seeing him again someday. I love you Toby.
